Abraham Project - Pulling Nails

This is a picture of the woodshed with the finished wood that teams before us have finished pulling nails/staples out.

Kerby is showing the team the wood that needs to be worked on.
Dr. Boles, Cathy, Betsy, and Julie prepare a bedframe for repair.

We all pulled many nails and staples out of wood planks this week. This is a photo of one nail that the head broke off and I had to go chase it and dig it out of the wood! I was so proud I photographed this little booger!

The Community

These pictures were taken as we drove through the community. The poverty, the trash, the noise, are hard to portray through pictures. There are bars on all the windows, in the hills homes are stacked on top of each other (much like Brazil). In town, there are bars and gates that enclose homes with constantine wire some with electricity running through to keep out intruders.

Abraham Project - Soccer Area

This area of ampitheather seating and dirt soccer floor at the base, is going to be indoor one day. This is behind the community/medical building. On the bottom floor of the building are showers and toilet areas for future athletes to utilize when coming to play games.

What an amazing contribution to this little community! The vision of these people to reach folks in their community for the Lord, is just amazing!
